Before starting YORVIPATH
- Within 14 days before the first dose of YORVIPATH, your patient’s serum 25(OH) vitamin D should be within the normal range and albumin-corrected serum calcium ≥7.8 mg/dL1
Starting YORVIPATH
- The recommended starting dose of YORVIPATH is 18 mcg once daily; the average dose in the Phase 3 clinical trial was 21 mcg1,2
- The maximum recommended dosage is 30 mcg daily1
Titrating YORVIPATH
- Dose adjustments are made in 3-mcg increments or decrements to meet individual needs1
- After initiating YORVIPATH, patients should be first titrated off active vitamin D before oral calcium is titrated down1
- If calcium levels remain low with 30 mcg/day, consider adding or restarting calcium and/or active vitamin D therapy and/or seek other treatment options1

Each monthly delivery contains 2 pens (with 14 doses each) and 28 needles (31 G x 5 mm), plus 2 extra needles. No separate prescription is required.1,3
Frequently asked questions about taking YORVIPATH
How is the medication taken?
- YORVIPATH should be administered at the same time every day1
- YORVIPATH is administered subcutaneously in the front of the thigh or abdomen1
- The injection site should be rotated daily
What happens if a dose is missed?
- Less than 12 hours: YORVIPATH should be taken as soon as possible1
- More than 12 hours: Skip YORVIPATH and take the next dose as scheduled1
How often does serum calcium need to be measured?
- Measure serum calcium 7 to 10 days after the first YORVIPATH dose and after any dose change in YORVIPATH, active vitamin D, or calcium, and monitor for clinical signs and symptoms of hypocalcemia or hypercalcemia1
- Once the YORVIPATH maintenance dosage is achieved, measure serum calcium levels at a minimum every 4 to 6 weeks or as indicated for symptoms of hypocalcemia or hypercalcemia1
Do not administer a dose higher than 30 mcg or more than 1 injection per day1
